TheLabelCutter started out of daily frustration in our own packing room. Back in 2023, while processing between 80 and 150 customer orders every morning across Meesho, Flipkart, and Amazon, our biggest operational bottleneck was label preparation. Every standard invoice PDF downloaded from supplier panels comes as an A4 document containing a shipping barcode label on the upper half and a detailed tax invoice on the lower half. To print just the label on a 4x6 inch thermal roll printer, we had to manually crop every page one by one inside generic PDF software. On days with 100 orders, that meant 100 manual cropping actions before we could even begin packing parcels.
We tested several existing online tools, but found that most either uploaded customer files to remote servers (exposing customer telephone numbers and home addresses), inserted watermarks, required paid subscriptions, or failed to detect newer Meesho invoice layouts. We built TheLabelCutter to solve this exact problem for our own dispatch workflow. When other seller friends saw how much time it saved them each morning, we made the tool publicly available for free to the entire Indian eCommerce community.

The SKU grouping feature was built because batch packing identical items is over three times faster than packing random single items. The profit calculator was built after realizing that hidden charges like returns, volumetric weight penalties, and packaging materials were eating into product margins without being noticed.
