Information we collect
TheLabelCutter is a browser-based tool suite. We do not require user registration, login credentials, or personal account creation. The only information we may collect is:
- Contact form submissions: When you voluntarily submit a message through our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, subject line, and message content. This information is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.
- Server access logs: Our web hosting provider automatically records standard server access logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps. These logs are used for security monitoring and performance optimization. They are not linked to personal identities.
- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, page views, user geography, and device types. Google Analytics uses cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information through our implementation. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
What we do NOT collect
TheLabelCutter is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit:
- PDF files uploaded to our tools (all processing happens locally in your browser)
- Customer names, phone numbers, or delivery addresses from your shipping labels
- Order amounts, invoice numbers, or GST details from your documents
- Product SKU codes, inventory data, or sales figures
- Payment information or credit card numbers
- Marketplace seller account credentials or API tokens
How our tools process your data
All PDF parsing, label cropping, barcode detection, courier sorting, SKU grouping, PDF merging, image compression, and profit calculations are performed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries. Your documents and data never leave your device. No files are uploaded to our servers at any point during the processing workflow.
Cookies and tracking technologies
TheLabelCutter uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- Google Analytics cookies: Used to measure site traffic and usage patterns. These cookies track anonymous session data and do not contain personally identifiable information.
- Google AdSense cookies: We display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of our tools. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history across websites. You can manage your ad personalization preferences at Google Ad Settings.
- Session cookies: Our server may set temporary session cookies for contact form spam prevention (math captcha verification). These expire when you close your browser.
Third-party services
TheLabelCutter integrates the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics (analytics.google.com): For anonymous traffic analysis
- Google AdSense (pagead2.googlesyndication.com): For displaying advertisements
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com): For loading the Inter typeface
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies if you have concerns.
Data retention and deletion
Contact form messages are stored on our server database until manually reviewed and responded to. We do not retain contact messages longer than 12 months. If you wish to have your contact submission deleted, email us at support@thelabelcutter.com with your request and we will remove it within 7 business days.
Children's privacy
TheLabelCutter is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our contact form, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
